| Thanks again Seedy ROM. A While back I posted some comparison pics of the Stoptech rotors along side of an Accord rotor. A member then asked for some pics along side of the stock rotor, well, here are some install and comparison pics. The included instructions are very detailed and easy to follow so I won’t go into much detail here. Before (factory):
The tools you will need to install:
As you can see you really don’t need a whole lot of specialized tools, nor do you need huge amounts of mechanical skill. The small pliers to remove the spring clips. A 5mm hex wrench to remove and replace the pad cover plate. A 10mm flarenut wrench. An 11mm wrench for bleeding. A 12mm to remove the brake hose bracket on the knuckle. A 14mm wrench and or socket to install the banjo nuts on the Stoptech caliper. A 19mm wrench and or socket to remove the factory caliper. A 19mm wrench (optional) to hold the new braided hose while you tighten the flarenut (the spring clip is strong enough to hold it in place). A plastic coated mallet for removal of a stubborn rotor and to tap on the calipers to break loose bubbles while bleeding. A torque wrench. The large Channel Locks, I used to bend the splash guard back. Brake cleaner to clean the rotors of any residues. And some form of brake bleeder (could be just a hose and a jar to catch brake fluid in). I would highly recommend a couple of pairs of latex gloves for working on cars:
Look, no black fingernails. The factory front brake:
 The parts:
Not a lot. The instructions say to reuse the factory spring clips, but yet they include 6 new ones. I used the new ones. The calipers:
 The pads:
 The rotors:
The adapter bracket. The instructions say to remove the factory splash shield, I just bent them back with the large c Channel Lock pliers:
The Pat retainer bolt. Don’t loose this little washer, mine stuck to the caliper and fell off when I went to install it, fortunately my dad keeps his garage floor very clean:
 Installed:
The braided lines, very nicely coated:
And, drum roll please, the finished product:
And the factory look to compare:
 These are 18" X 8.5" SSR GT3s BTW.
